PAGEANT DESIGNS is a division of Dimitra Designs, a full service bridal and special occasion salon serving Upstate South Carolina since 1994. Dimitra Designs is well-known for having the largest selection of bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-wedding dresses, tuxedos, shoes and wedding accessories, special occasion dresses such as prom, pageant and quinceañera.

We keep our website as updated as possible. We must check availability of your chosen item based on three criteria: your wear date, the manufacturer's delivery schedule, and our shipping time to you. At this moment, if your item(s) is available, we will place a purchase order with the manufacturer to ensure that your package arrives in time for your wear date. Inventory is subject to change every minute. We can not guarantee the item you want will be available when you order it. If your item(s) is not available, we will issue your refund, and we will contact you to discuss the situation.

To avoid delays when processing your order, please send your measurements with your order. Send us your measurements for bust, waist, and hips to verify you are ordering the correct size. Our experienced online fashion consultants will analyze the fit of the dress based on the silhouette of the dress vs your measurements. They will call you or send a message to discuss more about it, if needed.

Every dress displayed on our website has a button to the size charts and instructions that will help you determine which size best matches your measurements. Each designer has his own sizing chart; please choose the correct size chart and measure carefully. There's also a a video on the same page that will show you how to measure. The measurements are to determine the best size, not to customize the dress. Dresses come in standard sizes, alterations may be needed.


The only colors available are the ones listed or described on our website. If there is a picture of the color you want, and you cannot figure out the color by name, call us. We will do our best to explain it to you. We cannot custom make it for you. Often colors appear slightly different on the computer monitor than in person, and embellishment or designs may be difficult to discern. We will discuss the differences with you in order to find the best solution for you.

Additional charges may incur for certain specifications. The charges vary from designer to designer and reflect their designer's set fee.

Extra size fee: It may be applicable on garments size 12 and over.
Drop ship: In certain occasions there is an need to expedite the shipping to make the wear date. Drop Ship means that the gown will ship from the designer directly to the client. This service incurs additional fees and they are different from upgraded shipping (overnight,2nd day, 3rd day, ground). Therefore in some cases upgraded shipping may be needed in addition to the drop ship fee, in order to make your wear date.

We do not provide alterations to our far away clients. Alterations are very personal and specific. Changes are made to fit you. Every body is different and about 99% of customers need alterations even after following the measuring and size chart guidelines. We recommend that you look for a seamstress/alteration shop with formal gowns experience.
